The George and Dragon is nestled in the center of the small village of West Haddlesey, 5 miles south west of Selby in the county of North Yorkshire. Click here for a map.
Coming from the north, take the A19 south from the Selby by-pass (the A63). Head through the village of Burn and a mile later take the turning right at the cross-roads (by Michaels garage) signposted to West Haddlesey. From the south, head up the A19 (M62 junction 34). Shortly after passing Eggborough Power Station (on your right hand side) you’ll go over a bridge over the River Aire - immediately afterwards take the turning left at the cross-roads signposted to West Haddlesey.
Half a mile from the cross-roads you’ll go across a small hump-backed bridge over the Selby Canal. The George and Dragon is another 400 yards further along the road on the left hand side.
